Channel Sales Manager

We are looking for a Channel Sales Manager, who will be responsible for recruiting and developing channel partners (VARs and resellers) within the United States. The successful candidate will balance sales support, partner management, and sales training with a focus on growing the sales pipeline.

SpaceClaim's business environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial. To be successful, the candidate must excel within a cross-functional team in an early stage environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, educate, and motivate new partners who will drive SpaceClaim sales within a geographic region.
  • Generate joint calls and leads for new end-user opportunities.
  • Manage sales processes with channel partners to ensure they have the ability to succeed in driving business for SpaceClaim.
  • Ensure VAR sales and technical skills conform to SpaceClaim requirements.
  • Work with marketing to identify appropriate leads for new partners.
  • Support of channel events with a direct goal of increasing the amount of incremental revenue gained through the partners.

Skills / Experience:

  • 7 or more years prior experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of SpaceClaim products to successfully acquire the mindshare of channel partners.
  • Experience selling emerging technology and evangelizing emerging markets and products.
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge is preferred.
  • BS Degree or higher or equivalent work experience required.
  • Ability to travel.
