The software reads all major proprietary and standardized CAD formats, and has plug-in compatibility with industrial design, visualization, and analysis products.
How does SpaceClaim do it?
This is all possible because SpaceClaim offers a new way of modeling and editing. Users can edit the model based on their intentions instead of playing chess with the CAD system to figure out exactly how their model was originally created. There's no need to sort through a complex maze of feature-based relationships.
Because SpaceClaim does not constrain designs based on how they are created, users can experiment freely with design concepts and evaluate alternate solutions to design problems.
Using the software’s streamlined and powerful user interface, the engineer uses a small set of very powerful commands to create and change models quickly. SpaceClaim features:
